Orleans Parish Juvenile Court – Certified Court Reporter

The Orleans Parish Juvenile Court is seeking a Certified Court Reporter who can transcribe records verbatim via voice or machine writer of judicial trials, conferences, hearings, or any other court proceedings where a record is required and be fully responsible for the preparation of a complete and accurate record of proceedings . The Court Reporter will be responsible and respond to all requests for transcripts in a timely manner.

15th Judicial District Court, Lafayette – Certified Court Reporter

The positions are for full-time employees with a full salary plus benefits as well as reimbursement for continuing education, license renewal, and seals. The Court further provides maintenance of bonds, office space, essential equipment and software for job performance, and a court liaison to mediate between attorneys regarding transcript request. Courts covered will be criminal and civil. The new hire will be expected to perform highly responsible duties of recording and transcribing verbatim records of judicial trials, conferences, hearings or any other court proceedings where a record is required and be fully responsible for the preparation of a complete and accurate record of proceedings which may involve highly technical terminology used in a number of different fields.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court seeks a Certified Court Reporter for Division D of the general jurisdiction docket.  The successful candidate will be a consummate professional who will record and transcribe verbatim records of all judicial trials, conferences, hearings, or any other court proceedings held in open court and/or in chambers. The Court Reporter will be responsible and respond to all requests for transcripts in a timely manner. 22nd Circuit District, Mississippi – Full-time Court Reporter

The Honorable Tomika Harris Irving, 22nd Circuit Court District, will have an opening for a full-time court reporter as of January 1, 2023. The 22nd Circuit District covers the counties of Copiah, Claiborne and Jefferson Counties. Salary is pursuant to Section 9-13-19. All equipment is provided. 16th Judicial District Court – Division “B” seeks Certified Court Reporter for trial court of general jurisdiction in Iberia, St. Martin and St. Mary Parishes. Proficiency in stenotype or stenomask reporting and operating in, or willing to advance to real time translation considered. Louisiana Board of Examiners of Certified Shorthand Reporters license required. Must reside in or near 16th Judicial District. Courtroom experience preferred, but not necessary. Salary plus benefits and transcription fees. Some equipment provided. All applications are to be submitted through Indeed.
